Winemaker Notes
Bright straw yellow. Orvieto’s fruity and floral bouquet is reminiscent of green apples and meadow flowers. This wine’s smooth, refreshing flavors balance beautifully with its structure and acidity. Orvieto also offers a unique mineral character that comes from the chalky limestone soil called tufa. The finish is long and fragrant, with hints of almond.
Serve Ruffino Orvieto Classico as an aperitif. Or pair it with a wide variety of dishes including crostini topped by roasted tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and garnished with shaved parmigiano cheese; lightly grilled vegetables infused with fennel; thinly sliced prosciutto garnished with basil and olive oil; basic soups such as cold summer squash puree with a light truffle oil infusion; grilled fish with olive oil and rosemary; and mild cheeses such as mozzarella.

Pale yellow color with greenish hues.
The taste of wine is soft, fruity, rounded, harmonious flavor repeating. Light floral tones in a pleasant aftertaste emphasize elegance bouquet. Complex, intense, balanced floral and fruity aroma of wine charms notes of orange blossom, grapefruit and tropical fruits.
An excellent aperitif, goes well with white meat, fish and seafood, light vegetable salads and soft cheeses.
The stone crosses standing on the borders of lands were called Santa Digna. These crosses were used to mark boundaries and symbolized good luck and protection for those setting off for remote lands.

This Chardonnay has a subtle and delicate yellow color with greenish hints, stand out in ripe and tropical fruits, reminiscent of fruits such as mango, apricot, and fresh citrus notes.
On the palate it presents a great balance between mouthfeel and acidity, presenting a long, fresh and delicate finish, a great wine to enjoy.
Fresh, pale gold colour, with a blend of aromas reminiscent of ripe, tropical fruits, over underlying hints of apple and fennel. Silky. Can be taken as an aperitif or with mild sauces.
Aromas of wood, acacia flowers, honey and vanilla. The taste is pleasant, with moderate acidity and a residue of sugar that helps. Medium aftertaste, floral.
The wine has a rich aroma with notes of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, lime and lemon, as well as floral and mineral notes, hints of green apple and white peach.
