The Glenlivet 15 Year Old is a 40% ABV Speyside single malt whisky which is deep gold in colour and leaves behind traces of sweet almond spice. The 15 Year Old gets its distinctive rich and exotic character from a process of selective maturation in which a proportion of the spirit is matured in French oak casks.

This whisky is part of the Soleo collection, a series paying homage to the ageing process used on some sherry grapes. Each whisky in the series has a different colour label, each reflecting a different stage of the grapes’ maturation.

A triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskey from The Irishman that has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks. Aromas of juicy peaches, dried apricot, tropical fruits, orange blossom and vanilla fudge fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla, toasted almonds, honey, crunchy granola, digestive biscuits, rich malt and peppery oak spice throughout the palate.

This is one of our favourite Irish blends and for many of our staff it is a most reliable inexpensive whiskey. Previously known as Founder’s Reserve, this is a truly unique take on traditional Irish whiskey. Triple distilled, Single Malt and Single Pot Still. This is a marriage of heavenly proportions. The original signature blend was created by Bernard Walsh. Matured entirely in American Oak Bourbon barrels. It is a unique blend because it does not contain any inferior (and cheaper) grain whiskey. In actual fact it is better than many Irish single malts we have tried!
